Wow I didn't realise how long it had been since I had updated the website....
We had our EWA Horse of the Year in early September where both Brayside Butterscotch and
Brayside National Treasure did us proud and both competed in the finals. My daughter Grace rode so
well at her first HOTY since finishing leading rein winning her Rider Class (under 10 years) and then
won the Bronze Winner in the finals Rider Under 14 Years, not bad for a little nine year old. Grace
also pulled off a great hunter workout on Brayside Butterscotch, I'm so proud of them :)

Grace also competed on Brayside Butterscotch at the Perth Royal Show to place 3rd and 4th in the
Small Hunter Ponies, 3rd in her Rider and 1st in the Ridden Buckskin Mare class. We also had some
success in the halter classes with National Treasure placing 2nd RP Gelding and 1st Part Welsh
Gelding, Butterscotch 2nd Buckskin Mare, Heavenly Visions 2nd RP Mare, Flaunt It 3rd, Brilliance 2nd
RP Colt and Shakira 3rd Arab Derivative.
Late October we had our SHCWA Horse of the Year where Brayside National Treasure and
Brittany Wilson completed a beautiful work out to obtain a win from one of the judges. Grace placed
in the Top Five Junior Rider of the Year and Grace & Butterscotch were in the Top 10 Small Hunter

And last weekend we attended the WA Arabian State Championships for the following results:-
Penley Wedgewood - Finalist Arabian Pony Mare,
Brayside Flaunt It - State Champion Arabian Riding Pony Gelding 2 & 3 Years,
Designed by Bellevale - State Champion Arabian Riding Pony Filly 2 & 3 Years,
Brayside Love Story owned by Christie Healey - Reserve State Champion Arabian Riding Pony Filly 2
& 3 Years,
Brayside Royal Vision - Reserve State Champion Arabian Riding Pony Yearling,
Brayside Shakira (owned by Emma Dunn) - State Champion Arabian Riding Pony Mare,
Brayside Butterscotch & Grace Bray - Finalist in the Arabian Derivative Hunter and a Finalist in the
Arabian Derivative Hunter Ridden by a Youth.
