WA Interschool Competition - 10/04/10
Grace and Tulip attended their first Interschool Competition competing in the Three Phase Section
which entailed a Ridden Workout, Halter Workout and Dressage Test, a first for Grace. We were
thrilled when it was advised Grace had won her age group Primary 1-3 and had to compete all three
sections again for the overall Champion and Reserve Primary School placing's. It was a very long day
and at 7pm at night Grace and Tulip completed their last dressage test for the day. We had to head
back to the State Equestrian Centre the following afternoon for the Presentations in which Grace was
awarded 1st Place in Primary School Three Phase Showman 1-3, also awarded a lovely Saddle Blanket
for a Riding Pony Award from the WA RPSBS and Reserve Champion Primary School Rider. We are
very proud of their efforts. Photos to come shortly.

Bunbury Agricultural Show - 11/04/10
Brayside Chantilly Lace competed at her first Agricultural Show with Kate Maddams onboard to win the
Reserve Champion Large Pony Hack, a fantastic effort for a pony not long out of the paddock. Kate
had also never ridden Lucy prior to this show. A massive thank you to Jade and Kate for taking Lucy
for us.

WAAHA Trilogy Show - 15th May 2010
We had a fantastic but long day at one of our favourite shows of the year the WAAHA Trilogy Show
held at Brigadoon. Grace rode Wendamar Tulip in the Arabian Derivative ridden by a Youth under 17
Years Old and looked tiny being on a 10.2hh against many well performed hacks/galloways to place 5th
in this class. We'd like to sincerely thank Jordan Sprylan and Felicity Rushby for looking after Grace in
the indoor and ensuring she knew the workout.
Next was our little weanling colt Brayside Brilliance (Fairlight Acres Riverdance x Bevanlee Chant An
Wave) out for his first time who graced the ring in the Arabian Derivative Weanling Male Class and what
a little super star he was. Brilliance won the weanling male class, Champion Arabian Derivate Weanling
and later competed against the yearling, two year old and three year old champions to take out the
SUPREME CHAMPION ARABIAN DERIVATIVE JUNIOR. What an amazing show for a first time of
everything. We are hoping this fellow has an amazing show and eventually saddle career for many
years to come. Many thanks must go to Joanne Endersby for showing this gorgeous boy and for Cheryl
Ullrich who stepped in when Joanne had too many to lead in the Supreme class.
Brayside Shakira also showed what a sensational filly she is with her magnificent movement and wow
looks to take out the Reserve Champion Arabian Derivative 2 Year Old for owner Emma Dunn. Photo

York Horseman's - 20th June 2010
Our daughter Grace competed on our homebred pony Brayside Butterscotch for the first time for
fantastic results; Champion Show Hunter Pony Under 14hh and Champion Open Small Pony. We had a
fantastic day at Northam and am very impressed with this partnership.
I still remember Grace sitting in her pram watching Butterscotch be born.... my how the years are flying.
August News
We haven't had any news for a while but it's all starting to get very
busy in WA from August onwards.
Grace and Brayside Butterscotch attended the Winterama Show held
by Dilutes Australia to win the Supreme DA Buckskin Exhibit and
Champion Pony Hack. Photo supplied by Gretchen Copeman.
Brayside National Treasure had his saddle debut at the Riverside Hack Day on the 1st August and he
kept up with his winning ways taking out the Champion Galloway Award with rider Brittany Wilson.
This boy never ceases to amaze me. He apparently worked like a seasoned professional, you would
never had thought it was his first saddle outing. Big things to come from this fellow and his siblings.
We also have pleasure in announcing our first foals for the 2010 season, both born on the 2nd August a
few weeks early out of Bevanlee Vision and Stanton Park Lucy Lui, they are by our resident sire
Fairlight Acres Riverdance. Photo's can bee seen on our 2010 Foals Page.
